When customers sign up for Bertram Fiber their account status will now get updated with what stage of the fiber process they are in.
Status
Lead – When a customer first signs up to fiber they will show up as a lead account. A couple times a week Five Star will process the account and move it to the appropriate status.
Pending Construction – There is an active project for the customer’s area, but no underground work has started yet in their neighborhood. The project is currently in the planning and permitting phase
In Construction – Mainline construction is active in their neighborhood. This means underground work is in progress for placing conduit and vaults.
Construction Complete – Mainline underground construction is complete in the area but fiber has not yet been pulled.
Mainline Fiber Complete – Mainline fiber is in and spliced now, but awaiting Hub activation
Drop Complete – Conduit and fiber have been placed from the right-of-way (ROW) to the customer’s home. The connection is spliced, tested, and ready for installation.
Install Eligible – Customer drop ready for install. This currently is mostly the same as Drop Complete
Active – Indoor installation is complete
