A few weeks prior to the planned fiber drop, 5 Star will have contacted Diggers Hotline whose participating contractors will mark any buried public utilities. 5 Star will also reach out to the homeowner about marking any private utilities such as sprinkler systems, underground pet fencing, septic systems, well lines, propane lines and any additional gas or electrical lines.
There is information on the Diggers Hotline website at https://www.diggershotline.com/homeowner-faq about the difference between public and private lines, however if the customer has any questions they can reach out to Five Star at 262-720-1603 and select option 2 for clarification.
For follow-up regarding restoration or repair after work has already been performed they can dial 262-720-1603, select option 4 and someone will reach back out to them.
